Bundle Settings

Bundle creation and management is done via the BundleM8 Shopify app. All other aspects of product management, including storefront availability, images and descriptions are managed via the Shopify admin. This avoids any unnecessary double handling of product information.

Creating your first bundle is as simple as opening the BundleM8 app in Shopify and selecting Create Bundle from the navigation menu.

Title

The bundle title will appear in your Shopify products list and will be what your customers see. This setting is synced between the app and Shopify and any updates in either platform will update in the corresponding platform.

SKU

The SKU field is optional. This is also synced with Shopify, just like the title.

Auto sync prices

The auto-sync prices setting will keep the pricing of individual bundled products in sync with their respective product in your Shopify store. You will still have the option to adjust pricing for individual products manually, and any product with manual pricing will not automatically sync.

Bundle-wide discount

This setting will allow you to set a custom bundle-wide discount. When selected, the auto sync prices setting will also be enabled to ensure discounts are automatically applied to changes in product pricing. You cannot set any manual pricing for individual products when this setting is enabled.

Discount type

You have the choice of a percentage discount or a fixed-amount discount. Both settings are applied to the original pricing of your bundle products.

Discount amount

For fixed-amount discounts, a dollar amount will be subtracted from each individual product within the bundle. For percentage discounts, a whole number (no decimals) percentage discount will be applied to each individual product within the bundle.
