Cart, checkout and orders
BundleM8 sells bundles through Shopify's own cart and checkout. Customers buy one bundle, and your orders contain the actual products inside it.
In the cart
When a customer adds a bundle to their cart, Shopify shows it as a single item with the bundle's title. Themes that support bundles list the products inside it underneath, with their quantities.
Customers can change the bundle's quantity or remove it like any other item. To change what's inside the bundle, they remove it and add it again with a new selection.
The customer's selection is stored on the cart item as a hidden property. It isn't shown to customers.
If your theme doesn't show the bundle's products
Some older themes don't list the products inside a bundle. Turn on Use cart attributes on the Bundle Selection block to add each product to the cart item as a visible property, such as "M8 Blend, Ground: x 1".
At checkout
Checkout shows the bundle with its products, each at its bundle price, so the total matches the bundle form. Discount codes and Shopify's other discounts apply as they're set up. See Discount codes and other discounts.
In orders
Orders show the bundle and the products inside it. In your Shopify admin, open the order to see each bundle grouped with its components.
Fulfilment
You fulfil the products inside the bundle, not the bundle product itself. Fulfilment apps and shipping integrations receive the component products, so pick lists and packing slips show exactly what to send.
Inventory
When an order is placed, Shopify deducts stock from the products inside the bundle. The bundle product's own stock is updated by BundleM8 to reflect what's left. See Inventory.
Returns and refunds
Return or refund the products inside the bundle from the order, the same way as products sold individually.
Reporting
BundleM8's dashboard shows orders and revenue from bundles for the last 30 days. See Bundle performance.
