Plans and billing
BundleM8 bills through Shopify, so subscription charges appear on your regular Shopify invoice. You can choose, change or cancel your plan from the Subscription page in the app at any time, without contacting support.
What plans include
Each plan sets three limits. The current plans and prices are shown on the Subscription page.
| Limit | What it means |
|---|---|
| Active bundles | How many bundles you can have at once. Active and draft bundles both count towards this. |
| Linked variants per bundle | How many different product variants a single bundle can use. See Linked variants and combinations. |
| Condition groups | Whether you can add condition groups to your bundles. |
Plans with unlimited bundles and linked variants have no limit on either.
Some plans include a free trial. Trials are only available the first time a store subscribes to BundleM8.
Choosing or changing your plan
- In BundleM8, open Subscription.
- Under Available Plans, find the plan you want and select Select this plan.
- Review the charge on the Shopify screen and approve it.
Shopify returns you to BundleM8, and the new plan applies straight away. Your current plan, its price and your next payment date are shown at the top of the Subscription page.
Promo codes
If you have a promo code, select Have a promo code? Click here. on the Subscription page, enter your code and select Validate. The discount or extended trial is applied when you choose a plan.
Some codes unlock a plan that isn't otherwise available, such as a launch offer. After you enter one, the plan appears under Available Plans with an Unlocked badge. Choose it as usual while the code is in use.
Upgrading
When you upgrade, your new limits apply as soon as you approve the charge. If bundles were paused because of an earlier plan change, BundleM8 brings back as many as your new limit allows, oldest first. They come back as Draft, so check them and set them to Active in Shopify when you're ready.
Downgrading
When you move to a plan with lower limits, BundleM8 adjusts your bundles to fit:
More bundles than your new limit
All of your bundles are paused, and BundleM8 asks you to choose which ones to keep:
- Open BundleM8. A banner says Your plan's bundle limit has changed.
- Select Choose active bundles.
- Tick Keep active for the bundles you want, up to your new limit. The page shows how many you've selected.
- Select Save selection.
The bundles you didn't choose stay paused and can't be bought. They're kept in BundleM8, so you can choose them again later or bring them back by upgrading.
Bundles over the new variant limit
A bundle that uses more linked variants than your new plan allows is set to Draft. It can't be set back to Active, even from Shopify, until you remove products from it to bring it under the limit, or upgrade.
Condition groups
If your new plan doesn't include condition groups, you can't add new condition groups to your bundles. The + Add condition button changes to Add condition (upgrade required).
Cancelling
To cancel, open Subscription and select Cancel subscription, then confirm. Cancelling ends your access to BundleM8's features.
Uninstalling BundleM8 also cancels your subscription. See Uninstalling for what happens to your bundle products.
